In 1978 as a custom homebuilder and master carpenter in the D/FW area, Larry Jones designed and built his own cabinets for his own custom homes. His vision was to transform the traditional cabinet appearance to one of custom furniture.

The business grew from a garage operation and transformed into a modern 25,000 square foot state-of-the-art manufacturing facility that is known as Heartland Furniture, Inc. today.
